The stage crew are responsible for setting up the main stage every night there are amplified performances in the Big Top. These nights are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The crew consists of:
- One sound Engineer/Stage Crew Coordinator - Sera Rabbett
- Stage Assistants = 3
- Roadies = 3
- Power Woman = 1
The various duties for each of these roles are:
Stage Assistants
- Need to have some an understanding of stage equipment or willing to learn
- Know the difference between an XLR cable and a Jack cable
- Help each other set up the PA system, this involves:

Helping to carry equipment to and from Porta Cabin

Setting up two speakers on their stand

Erecting microphone stands
-
Connecting all speakers on stage including monitors to the stage box using XLR cable

Help sound engineer to do a line check with all the microphones on stage before soundcheck

Be willing to sit at the side of the stage during performances to help performers and to attend to the equipment on stage as instructed by sound engineer

Stage assistants need to be available to help pack down every evening as well after performances

- Stage assistants ideally need to be on site by Thursday 4pm for stage crew meeting. This will involve meeting the rest of the Big Top crew and setting up the PA for a trial test of the equipment.
Roadies
- Carry equipment to and from workshops during the day and/or Help stage assistants carry PA system and stage equipment to and from porta cabins before and after performances
- Roadies will work in shifts arranged by Stage manager
Power Woman
- In charge of turning generator on and off at allotted time
- Checking fuel meter regularly
- Filling tank up when needed but not while it is on!
